Opening day up here in SE PA is May 31st, Lou!!

Why so late? I I realize SE PA is not the sunbelt, but neither is Metro Boston and all our leagues are up and running, regular season schedule, by the 2nd week in April; some in the 1st week of April.. Not to say the weather cooperates. [ brrrr and rainy weather not uncommon]
