Though naturally I'm a night owl, I get up early many mornings because it just makes sense with our family schedule.

I hear gel packets work better than Shot Bloks. Insert end and squeeze; it give the ignition a jolt and roars to life!
No early AM workouts for me; I do mine at lunchtime and after work during the week and sleep in on weekends (as much as our dogs will allow) before heading out.
Good warm weekend ahead here in snow country; looking forward to getting the bike off the trainer and on the asphalt (rubber side down).

I use gels as well, but I like the blok's non-stickiness.
The lunchtime workouts sound great. And we in Wisconsin are enjoying a very mild winter which is incredible.
