Anybody here run on the PCT (Pacific Crest Trail)?

It runs over 2000 miles from Canada to Mexico - I've lived here for almost 10 years and did not even realize it was literally in my back yard! I've done 3 runs now on different sections of the trail and I've loved it, so different than running on the road. Often see lots of day hikers and thru-hikers, one from Italy even!

It's a little far afield for me, but I do have the Appalacian Trail handy here. It varies considerably in runabilty, but is definitely worth the effort. Just approach it with a dollop of common sense,and don't go getting yourself into the newspapers. Trail running can be a delightful experience.
I hope you can find some local talent to take you out for an innaugural run. I bet you will really enjoy it!

No, but I am in December. I am doing the Woodside race. The photos are amazing and I think it's wonderful there is such a trail.
