Im 14 and often the tallest kid on the court yet i play SG and SF mostly. Im happy to play where i do because of my skill not height. Do you think your height should determine your position?
I think height plays a part in what postion you play but it comes 2nd to your skill set and personal attributes. That's my take on it anyway.
just think about lebron james, sometimes he plays PF or SF but sometimes he plays point forward!!! he can play all 5 positions cuz of his skill set. in the heat vs pacers series he was guarding 7'3 roy hibbert sometimes
height comes second to skill. if u are 6'11 and u play pg.than thats skill.but somes height does determine position think of anthony davis.he played 2 guard but grown 7 inches and change into a big man
Great players are great leaders.Miamiheatboy
i think skill should determine what position you play for example i look at Kevin Durant who mostley plays SF but if you really had to you can put him at point and run the court and you can put him at PF an pound with the big boys because hes so quick with the ball.
For another example how about Rajon Rondo that dude is a walkn triple double if someone of his height can get 10 rebounds over guys who are litterly twice his size it takes skill and fundamentals not height height is just a subsitute to those who arent fundamentaly sounded
yes but also weight and skill
