TX Worth Turn2 12U Open Practice

This Friday, Texas Worth Turn2 will hold open practice at Memorial-Ashford Softball Fields at 12900 Windmere Dr. Houston, TX 77077 (MAP).  All positions are open.  This team is very organized and well coached.  If your player is ready to develop her softball skills and compete for championships, please consider coming out to Turn2's open practice this Friday.

As with last season, Turn2's focus will continue to develop advanced skills and play very competitive softball.  To that end, Turn2 has hired Joe Rutherford who currently manages Turn2's 18u Gold teams.  Joe has over 18 years of experience developing elite softball players.  He will lead all Turn2 12u practices, position training and will coaching during 12 tournaments. Greg Smith, who led the 2011-2012 10u team, will continue to coach the 12u team at practice and tournaments.  Together, these coaches have over 30 years of combined experience in successfully leading and developing high performing select/travel teams.

The coaching staff will create and follow a team training plan and provide individual skills development plans for each player.  As a team, players will learn advanced defensive strategies and hitting skills.  Additionally, Turn2' 12u players will have the opportunity to participate in specially scripted 18u gold team practices.  This experience provides 12u players with an opportunity to observe well excuted play, execute sophisticated game tactics, practice skills with elite level players and establish postive mentor relationships with 18u Gold players.
