I wasn't a fan of either team (Phillies fan here!), but I was one of the few, besides people from st louis and new york, rooting for the cards. Now I'm sad I put my faith in them and sad I have to hear all this trash about Boston now. Greatest sports moment ever, yeah right. Broke the curse; who cares!!, the only team in the world that becomes so popular for losing so much...what a joke.
Sorry, I had to get that out !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!.
My best mile time is 4:57 run on a track by myself, with no competition. I guess it might be a little faster in a real race, maybe in the 4:40's but who knows. Do you guys think I can get it down to 4:30 by this summer? I'm 19 and male. hurry and answer because I turn 20 in November and then I won't be able to post in the teen forums anymore !http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|src=http://www.coolrunning.com/forums/smile.gif|border=0!.

""Do you ever miss it much?" Denton paused as he was sliding out of the booth and looked at Cassidy.
"Quenton, you'll come to understand this eventually. I had my time, I really did. It was wonderful, no doubt about it. Stood up there blubbering like a schoolboy with my hand on my chest...."
"...and that was then. Now I have a wonderful life. Family, career, good health..."
Denton Laughed.
"More than I can tell you," he said, picking up the check and handing it to Cassidy."
