The 18U Texas Bandits are currently holding open tryouts for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. We offer private facilities located in the Cypress/Tomball area, which include new, premier-level indoor and outdoor facilities. The Texas Bandits 16U, our first softball team to join the organization, got off to a late start this past season by participating in their first tournament in May; however, they quickly showed promise by twice finishing 3rd in the three tournaments in which they played and also qualified for state. The Texas Bandits are looking for dedicated players that are committed to excellence in all aspects of the game.
The Bandits are coached by Xavier Enriquez who has 19 years of baseball playing experience with 5 years of select baseball and 2 years of college baseball. Coach Enriquez has successfully coached his baseball teams to the top 4 in World Series games in the past 5 years. Coach Enriquez's focus is to prepare players for college. Coach Enriquez as of late has taken his vast knowledge and experience and is applying to the softball world. Coach Enriquez also provides private instruction in fielding and batting. Coach Enriquez is part of the Texas Bandits organization. Texas BanditS 18U will mainly concentrate on college exposure and intend on participating at Colorado in 2013.
