Beautiful ride through the Bitterroot Valley. Small group made it nice as we spread out and enjoyed the views to ourselves. Some good climbing between mile 60-80. Great bunch of people who ran the ride. Thank You
The route was perfect. Mostly back country roads. Coming from California it was a pleasure to ride on roads with very little traffic and great views. The ride support was terrific and the people that put the ride together were extremely nice. If in the area next year we will definitley put this on our to do list.
A great community effort to produce a challenging ride that unfurled against a gorgeous Montana backdrop. Weather cooperated for the second year in a row. Outstanding support and organization - hats off to Darby and all involved in the Ride de Root!
Was a beautiful ride on mostly traffic-free roads. So beautiful in fact--its tough to ride for any time goals, too distracting! Just enough climbs to make it interesting. Very well organized by a very friendly group. Couldn't ask for much more from a ride! Definetly recommend to other riders.
AWESOME RIDE!!! Very well marked turns, weather, nice people. The first rest stop was actually at someone's home and the food was great! However, the third stop was totally out of carbs and heed at 10.30am but fortunately had water. However, the fourth stop made up for it with the most incredible chocolate chip cookies EVER! Beer and burgers at the end was much welcome! Flew from Vegas to escape the heat and stayed at Traveler's Rest Cabins in Darby. Thanks for a great ride!
