2012 - 2013 Howell Heat Tryouts

Howell Heat is the travel division of Howell Girls Softball located in Central NJ. Players do not need to be Howell residents and are welcome from all areas to tryout. All positions on teams are open...and earned. All tryouts will take place at Soldier Memorial Park (Intersection of Lakewood-Farmingdale Rd and Maxim Rd), Howell, NJ.

10U 2nd year - Coach John Lynde

18U Howell Heat Elite - Coach Mike Terlizzi

Howell Heat 18U Elite will be holding tryouts for the 2012-13 season on Saturday 8/11 at 10am and Tuesday 8/14 at 6pm. Tryouts will be held at the Heat / HGSL Complex @ Soldier Memorial Park, Howell, NJ. Players are required to complete a Tryout Form and email it to michael@howellheat.com prior to the tryout date(s).

Last season, the team played in 8 College Showcase tournaments, select Championship-format tournaments and Nationals. This Fall, Heat 18U Elite will play in 4-6 Showcase and Championship-format tournaments. Winter workouts consist of skills training at our indoor facilities as well as third party Strength and Conditioning training. Summer season will consist of 7-8 tournaments, primarily College Showcase, and Nationals.

In our 16^th year as a not-for-profit organization, Howell Heat maintains focused on our mission to facilitate a safe, positive learning environment in an effort to help our ladies achieve athletic excellence while enhancing their self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-discipline through the sport of Fastpitch Softball.
