RI Fire n' Ice is holding tryouts for their 16U and 14U teams this week.  The 16U tryouts will be on Saturday and Sunday August 18th and 19th from       1-4pm at East Providence High School (2000 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence, RI)

The 14U tryout will be Monday and Tuesday August 20th and 21st from 5-8pm at East Providence High School.  There are still openings for both teams!!  Pitchers and catchers needed!!

The 16U team will be coached by former RI All-State and Drexel University pitcher, Amanda Shattuck.  She will be assisted by Butch Medeiros and Dave Mitchell.

The 14U team will be coached by former URI baseball player and current head softball coach at East Providence High School, Rob Traverse.  He will be assisted by Mike Beaton.

Fire n' Ice will participate in 8 tournaments next year.  In A level competition this year, the 14U team finished 35-11-1, won two tournaments, finished runner-up in two others and finished no worse than 4th in their remaining tournaments.  Both teams will practice year round and tries to keep costs reasonable.  Last year tuition was $500 for tournaments, helmet, bat bag, uniform, etc....
