Hello, a mom here wanting some input on the cost to join an AAU basketball team. I would appreciate if you can share with me how much you are paying to be a part of your AAU team. We are being charged $300 initial plus uniforms costing $120 (reversible jersey) - $170 (2 sets of jerseys) and then $100/month. They say they play year round. I have been surfing the internet and I see AAU teams that charge $500 which includes everything else for a season (dont know how long that season is though) and no monthly charges.
