ive decided to change the subject to something funny.
whats the wierdest thing youve ever been attacked by while running or just in general???
this morning i was runing behind the fields and i got attacked by a turkey. it actually stalked and circled me screaming and poking its neck. i had my dog with me and i was clinging to him for dear life while kicking at the turkey going insane--i had a breif thought where i considered letting go of my dog and bringing home a little dinner
but i thought if the turkey got away my dog might not come back!
anyone else?

some 300 pound kid with the baggiest jeans i've ever seen....rather remarkable considering his size. Watching him try to run after me was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen
Aside from bugs, I've only been "attacked" once. You can't even really call it that, some lady was walking her dog, and I guess I was running close to her or something, because her dog jumped up and licked me in the arm pit. I could feel it's teeth on my shoulder, but it didn't bite down, so I was just like "whatever".
Ya lame.
Just today I was running by a group of kids (they looked like 14 years old, I'm 17) walking down the road. One of them was on a bike and he rode a little bit past me and turned around and was riding somewhat slowly towards me. I instantly knew that he was going to play a little game of chicken with me.. I just kept on running towards him like he wasn't even there and laughed as he turned his bike to move around me. Kind of boring, but it made me feel very triumphant over this "attacker".
multiple dogs, one gave me a really good sprint interval workout.. he didn't let up for a good minute, full sprint.
I know someone who got chased by a goose...
labrador
sadly, nothing exciting
I got bit around the eye while running once.
Other then that, no. The bikers on my path are all cool people.
A snake. :] Well, actually, it technically did not attack me.
I was running and didn't see it on the trail and practically stepped on it, but instead I jerked over to the side and went flying into a thicket of grass and mud. It wasn't very pleasant.
OK really ironic. I was just going to post about how last week I was attacked by two birds on the same run. One was a seagull and to be honest I was running for my life (plus I fell a couple times as it divebombed). Fortunately no one was around to watch but it must have looked pretty funny...
I had a wasp fly in my shirt while running. Stung me 5 times before I got the shirt right off. That's was pretty bad.
Nothing but the ladies.

i KNEW it! Someone had to have been chased by a goose! they're vicious.
I've run into a few bullsnakes, but they scare the bejeezus out of me when I almost step on them, so I don't think they'd qualify as attackers.
I did have a hawk divebomb me once-although that inspired the run, it didn't occur during the run. My dad saw that one-I had been complaining about sore knees earlier. He didn't believe me after that.
The Canadian goose is a beautiful yet violent creature when threatened. I've never actually been attacked by one while running but certainly while walking. When they start jumping, biting, and flapping their wings at you it's scary as heck.
