Small event first year, so the usual learning curve for event coordinators. 10K was a 5K loop run twice whcih was okay however with a little late start for the 10K and the follow-on 5k starting about 20-25 minutes after the 10K it meant the faster 10K runners had to navigate all the 5K runners which was furstrating. Lucky it was cool becasue there was only one water station. The awards were small and they didn't read out times for the runners or have all the cateogories that you normally hear. I like to at least hear the times. Award turkeys were only given to the overall 5K and 10K which will usually be a 17 year male out for his eekend track workout. I expected at least top male and top female each race and a slight thought of perhaps the masters cateogories or some age division but I understand its charity.
