For a first-year this was very enjoyable. I was concerned about the start being at the finish (in the chute!) with a hard right right off the start possibly leading to serious congestion problems, but it didn't.
It appears the course was almost exactly a tenth of a mile short (checked using Google's "measure" function to confirm) which agrees with the track I recorded. As such computed pace by timing was fast by a corresponding amount. This is easily fixed next year just by moving the turn point out a couple hundred feet.
I enjoyed the race and will participate next year. The people, both runners and staff, were great and Lifepoint did a great job for this being a "1st annual" event.
