Boston College assistant softball coach Shayne Lotito will be running several winter clinics at AtBats Training Center in Boxborough, MA. Coach Lotito was an All-America player from Boston University and one of the Terriers’ top offensive players, combining power, slap-hitting and speed to set BU’s all-time records for runs and stolen bases. Coach Lotito is offering the following advanced hitting and strength & conditioning programs:
High School Softball Hitting Clinics
5-weeks, 2-4 players per clinic, fee of $225. Players will work on improving power and effectiveness, hitting different pitches and situational hitting.
Thursdays 6-7pm or 8-9pm starting January 3rd
Saturdays 10-11am or 12-1pm starting January 5th
Slap-Hitting Clinics, ages 13-18
5-weeks, 2-4 players per clinic, fee of $225. For experienced slappers and experienced power hitters who want to learn slap-hitting.
Thursdays 8-9pm starting January 3rd
Saturdays 9-10am or 12-1pm starting January 5th
High School Softball Strength and Conditioning
5-week program, fee of $225. Players will work on improving strength, speed, and agility to maximize power and explosiveness for both offensive and defensive skills.
AtBats also offers pitching and catching instruction in private and semi-private clinic format. Pitching instructors include: Harvard University coach Jenny Allard, Lesley University pitching coach Janelle Iaquinto, ASA National Champion Robyn King, Franklin Pierce University pitching coach Ashton Whidden, and former Stonehill College captain Kaitlin Andrews.
