My coach needs me to be a big scorer down low. I'm a very good defender but lack confidence in my offensive game. Any suggestions on how to change my productivity in the low post?

Confidence isn't just something you can decide to have. It doesn't work like that. Confidence is gained through repetitions.

You need to practice, a lot.

It can depend on your size compared to the people you play against, but i recommend you first really develop your right and left hook shots from close to the ring. The mikan drill is great for teaching that.

    Good Luck.
