I have run this 5K 3 times, and it has always been well organized. The health fair and oatmeal breakfast provide a huge festival atmosphere. The race probably averages 1200 participants. Dogs and strollers are allowed. Don't be fooled; there are some dogs that can turn in a 22  minute 5K, and some running moms that break 20 with a "jogging" stroller. $20.00 registration is a great price (with no shirt; 40 with) and gets you an oatmeal and PANCAKE breakfast with enormous topping bar, and warm up at the indoor health fair.
