My first 5k!  The route was very pretty (country roads with beautiful houses), and was shaded by trees for much of the course.  The indoor restrooms (at the elementary school) were really nice, especially since it was SO cold that morning.  Chip timed, and freebies at the end.  My whole family really enjoyed this first 5k of ours!

Determined to lose 100 pounds in a healthy way, thinking long-term. Run/walking 5ks as a part of the process. Follow my progress at The Little Blue Dress.
