The Texas Wrath is looking for 1-2 speedy fielders who can play multiple positions AND a catcher to bat high in the batting order to continue its tradition of success. There will be an open practice this Sunday from 1-4 pm at Mulberry Park in Bellaire just inside the 610 loop for all who are interested.
Past accomplishments include tournament championships in the first 12U season and 10U-B USFA State and National Championships. The Texas Wrath is led by Caitlyn Cain, who played softball for four years at Williams College (catcher, pitcher) and most recently served as one of Williams’ assistant coaches, with significant responsibilities for college recruiting (giving her excellent contacts in those circles). Caitlyn will be assisted by other former college softball players including Leah Legler, 4 year starter in the IF/OF at Texas Tech.
The Texas Wrath will seek to qualify for ASA Nationals in 2013 and recently finished 2nd in the ASA Texas Challenge Series. We practice in Bellaire just inside the 610 loop. The level and frequency of professional instruction will be very high. For the right family/child, allowances for financial hardship may be considered.
Please contact Sean Wheeler at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 713-546-7418. Inquiries will be treated confidentially and private try-outs can be arranged.
