Hi there, I'm a newbie that's been riding since April. I had a fit done last month, and things have been going really well until recently. I've suddenly developed plantar tendon pain in my right foot, and I was wondering if it might be related to where my cleat is on the pedal?
I did move my left up a bit because it felt like that foot was too far back; now I'm thinking my right is too far forward?
Oh, and how do I get this inflammation to quit! It's becoming excruciating on rides longer than 35 miles.
I have the same problem and mine is caused by the design of the shoes. I went to the doctor and had inserts made for my shoes. I found that once I had the problem it was pretty hard to solve. I had to get injections in my foot for a month to get it to go away. Don't wait to see a podiatrist, you are suffering for nothing. Trust me!!!!
