I participate in at least 15 of these rides, and 8 centuries per year (not to mention at least six of the Rock_n_Roll Marathon series) and I felt that, at times, the route was poorly marked (particularly the tail end of the 100K) and it lacked support beyond the 50K marker. Volunteers seemed a little confused, particularly at the finish line, where we had to wait for the medals. Also, the local authorities re-routed at least 20 of us away from the finish line and all the way around the park. The police escort, however, was great and probably saved lives in the dense fog. Thank you for that! Overall, it was an OK ride and the cause will always override the little organizational hiccups.
