I had email Greg (the director of Desert Tri) yesterday regarding more info on race day registration. My wife and I wanted to race the International Desert Tri distance. So without receiving, or hearing anything from Greg (or whomever takes care of emails), we went ahead, woke up at 2:30am, got ready and drove 115 miles from 4am to 6:30am. When we arrived and headed to the white registration tent to register, we immediately got denied and turned away because the gentleman straight out told us "nope...sorry, cash only!" It doesn't say anything that it's cash only for day of registration. We were so broken-hearted and very disappointed, that we just simply grabbed our things and left. Next time, please state "CASH ONLY" for race day registration on your website.
