To celebrate my 70th birthday in 2.5 years, I want to run a 5k. To do it I'm going to start with C25k iphone app.
Obviously I have time and my health coach thinks it'd be great to just take it slower than the app recommends.
So is it possible within the app to stretch out the time from 9 weeks to say 18 or 27?
Congratulations! Just listen to your trainer and probably your doc. I don't see why you could not stretch it out over a longer period of time. Again, listen to the professionals and good luck!
Sure, it's the way that I did the program. My coach told me that any week I finished that I didn't feel comfortable should be repeated. Better to take more time and finish without injuries. Good luck!
Yup, you can repeat any week. I am on week 4 and struggling, so I am definitely repeating it. The way that has worked for me is day 1 and 2 of each week have been a struggle, and then day 3 has been a breakthrough pretty consistently. This week I figure I am going to give myself a little bit of a break by repeating the week and hopefully getting a little bit more comfortable.
