TN Sting is a step above other fastpitch programs. Our mission is to recruit and cultivate "A" leveltalent and train them to compete against the nation's top programs at many of the most competitive tournaments throughout the Southeast. That's not new. A few other programs offer that as well. What is new, and what they don't offeris this:

EXPERIENCE: All of our coaches have professional relationships with nearly every college coach throughout Tennessee (including NCAA D-I, D-II, D-III, NAIA and JUCO), as well as many other coaches throughout the Southeast. They have coached in numerous College Exposure Showcases, as well as sanctioned (ASA, USSSA, SEAA, USFA, NSA, ISA) World Series, Nationals and Qualifying events.

OPPORTUNITY: Our coaches have helped literally dozens of players earn college scholarships to colleges throughout the Southeast at every level. They’ve achieved that goal through various methods. Players for the TN Sting will have numerous opportunities to play in front of countless college coaches and scouts. But we go one step farther. We walk our players and parents through the recruiting process, train them to manage that process successfully, and even initiate contact with college coaches on behalf of the players.

UNEQUALED TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:  TN Sting coaches are among the best, most experienced fastpitch travel ball coaches in East Tennessee. But, we don’t stop there. All TN Sting players are set up in weekly private instruction, both hitting and pitching, with well-known, widely respected experts throughout East Tennessee -- People you know and have heard of for years. Also, all TN Sting players attend strength and conditioning training twice weekly held at Johnny Long’s facility in West Knoxville and personally conducted by Johnny Long himself. This is all mandatory and part of the package for ALL TN Sting players.

CHARACTER MATTERS: The TN Sting intent is to not just cultivate talent, but to encourage character as well. We strive to emphasis all that is good and positive about athletics and competition. We encourage and initiate team events off the field to develop team unity and bonding. We have a code of conduct, and our players are expected to adhere to it. We believe it is crucial that our players thoroughly enjoy their competitive softball experience, but we also understand that it must be done in a structured environment in order to achieve success.

DEAL OF A LIFETIME:  Our TN Sting sponsors and benefactors provide and fund all the above mentioned benefits, and more. The TN Sting also supply team bat bags, uniforms, practice facilities and all tournament entry fees. Player cost is a mere $150 yearly commitment fee. That’s it!!! Why? Because we can, and because we want to attract the best players from East Tennessee and the surrounding states to build the Southeast’s best fastpitch travel program, bar none!
