14U Mt. Prospect Power looking for A Level Players (including PITCHERS) for 2013-14 Season!

The 14U Mt. Prospect Power is looking for a few solid A level players to complete our 2013-14 roster (INCLUDING AT LEAST 1 SOLID PITCHER)!

We are looking for dedicated, hard working, talented softball players who want to join an already strong core of girls.  We play a fall/spring/summer schedule (USSSA, ASA, PGF, NSA tournaments) and have earned a berth to a National tournament the last 3 years - finishing in 9th place at the USSSA World Series last year, and top 25 finish this year!

We provide year round training with an experienced coaching staff - including former Twins and Yankees minor leaguer, Tom Knauss and former DePaul University Assistant Women's Softball Coach, Ron Cacini.  In addition to our coaches, through our partnership with The Ballpark in Mt. Prospect (www.theballparkmp.com), players have access to a top notch training center and an elite staff of softball instructors made up of former professional and collegiate softball players (including former NPF All Star, Nicole Pauly) to further enhance their development as individuals and as a team.  Our goal is to prepare girls to play at the next level.

Tryout Info:

Sunday, August 11th - 12:00 - 2:00 pm

Saturday, August 17th - 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Tryouts will be held at Prospect High School's Varsity Softball field located at 801 W. Kensington Rd., Mt. Prospect, IL 60056

To help run an efficient tryout, players are asked to pre-register by emailing Coach Robyn at rcacini@yahoo.com.  Please also email if you are interested, but cannot make a tryout date, or if you would like a private tryout.

Players should arrive 30 minutes early for check in and warm ups.
