Indy Extreme 14U and 16U Tryouts - August 17th

The Indy Extreme are holding their 14U and 16U tryouts for each team.

The tryout date is Saturday, August 17th, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30.  All positions will be evaluated.  Please arrive 30 minutes prior for registration and warm-up.  Please bring your own softball equipment (glove, cleats, batting helmet and bat are required.  Knee slider and face guard are recommended.)  Call backs may be necessary to finalize coaching decisions.

Tryouts will be held at the Pike High School Varsity Diamond, located at 5401 W. 71st Street, Indianapolis, IN  46268.  Pike High School is our home base.

Located on the Northwest Side of Indianapolis, The Indy Extreme Softball program is looking for girls that are fundamentally strong and competitive with positive attitudes and supportive families to add to our current roster. We are a program that works hard, plays hard, has a lot of fun, and a strong bond of players and families. We will focus on teaching the fundamentals and working with your daughters to help them play this wonderful game at its highest level.

We will begin play with Fall tournaments, Winter League play, and then tournaments in the Spring and Summer following school ball season.  This is an organized and exciting program that has quickly developed into something special.

Our winter training will consist of indoor practice, agility-strength training, and indoor games/tournaments. We practice and play year round with the intent of having our girls better prepared.

1997 and 1998 for 16U and 1999 and 2000 for 14U girls are both encouraged to tryout.  We will play a top level open class schedule.  Playing time is earned first in practice and then based on performance in competition. Players will learn multiple positions to better prepare them for their high school and college careers.  Our coaching methodology will include regular practices, clinics and camps, and a dedication to the purpose of teaching the girls the fundamentals and enhancing their skills, while enjoying the game of softball.

For a pre-registration form, more information, or if you cannot make the tryout date and would like a private workout, please contact Patrick Terry. Email: patrickterry@allstate.com or Cell: 317-645-6909 (text available).
