    Marathon Haikus

It's a great race as you know!  This will be my 1st year not running it in 5 years I will be running the Peak to Creek on Sat, thought about doing both Sat and Sun then my wife ask me if I was crazy, she said you are running a marathon in the mountains then driving 8 hours to DC to run another one the next day.  I thought well since you put it that way maybe one is the right answer this year.

    Faster than building

    Smarter than speeding bullet

    It's...it's...it's...Dirac

I can't believe I still have that saved on my computer. Here are some others from that year:

    thefirecat:

    Grateful for haiku:

    I can't find anything that

    rhymes with "snack-a$$ shorts."

    dirac:

There once was mesage board about sports

That rhymed along with "snack-a$$ shorts"

One day the cat of fire

Said her rhyming need was quite dire

And audience had a case of the snorts

Welcome home, dude! We've missed you.

God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy.
