So I'm 45 and I decided to start trail running and I've been at it for about a month now.
My usual schedule is M-W-F 2.5 mile loop at sunrise and Saturdays I take a longer run of about 3.5 miles. So on a good week I log about 11 miles.
I'm pretty stoked on my new found love for running. In the past I've avoided it and thought runners were crazy especially those ones that run on single track trails.
Years of mountain biking has given me pretty good cardio and it's been interesting waking up those running muscles as opposed to the cycling ones.
Looks like a pretty active forum here. Looking forward to contributing where I can and learning lots.
Welcome! I'm a beginner myself. When I am able to organize myself to run, it is rather nice to forget everything and run...especially in the early mornings.
