Fourth Annual Trinity Berwyn 5K Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast

Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, PA is holding its 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Pancake Breakfast to celebrate its 150th Anniversary which was officially observed on January 4, 2013. The 5K event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov 2, 2013 at 9.00 AM and is open to the public.

The 5K Run/Walk will begin promptly at 9:00 AM at the church parking lot, winds through the village of Berwyn, and ends back at the church.  It is followed by a free pancake breakfast with coffee provided by Starbucks of Paoli and entertainment provided by Ward and McClee in our Fellowship Hall.

There will be an awards ceremony at 10:30 AM to recognize runners/walkers at various levels of participation.  $75 cash prizes will be awarded to the first place overall male and female runners.  Commemorative medal awards will be given to the 1st place male and female runners in eight categories.

Online registration and printable registration forms are available on the event website and also attached to this thread.  The registration fee per runner/walker is $25.00.  The deadline for online registration is October 31st.  You may also register at the church on the day of the race for $30.00 starting at 7:45 AM.  Registration includes an event bag stuffed full of samples, coupons, and a long sleeve wicking event t-shirt (guaranteed to all registrants who sign up by October 24th and while supplies last).

Part of Trinity’s Mission Statement for our 150th anniversary is to "rededicate our presence in the village of Berwyn by enhancing our facilities and outreach", and as such any proceeds from this event will go towards outreach efforts in Berwyn and throughout the world.
