Running from Ottawa to Toronto to celebrate being alive.

On May 5, 2013, after a lifetime of competitive running, I collapsed within sight of the finish line of a half marathon. I had no pulse and was not breathing for somewhere between 5 and 7 minutes. I was saved by four race spectators, 2 paramedics and one portable defibrillator, (AED).
On May 5, 2014, I shall set out from Parliament Hill and run (walk, crawl or stumble) 60 to 70 km a day until I have covered the entire 470 km to Toronto and the finish line of the race that defeated me a year before.

Training can only take me so far, support will carry me the rest of the way
