**Tx Smash 12u Open Practice Aug. 19th and 21st @ 7pm (Professionally Coached by Ex-Collegiate Players)**

Texas Smash 12u is looking to fill its rooster with talented players and dedicated parents.  We are looking for a bracket pitcher to join our rotation who has command of several pitches (plenty of mount time), short stop with speed and great glove, and utility players with speed and ability to play several positions when called upon.  We will look at '02, '03 and talented '04 players.

We will have open practice Aug 19th and 21st at 7pm @

Channelview Sports Complex (Fld 1)

  16502 Wood Dr.

Channelview Tx., 77530

We practice out of Channelview on the east side of town just off Beltway 8 and I-10 East.  We practice at least twice a week and will play in at least two tournaments a month.  We have our own 2 lane indoor hitting facility for those rainy days or extra practice time.

For more information or private tryout please contact Tony Herrera @ 832-414-9637 or by email at therrera36@gmail.com.  RSVP if possible so that we can be expecting you.

Texas Smash 12u is coached by Joanna and Roxie Palacios.  Both coaches are ex-collegiate players.  Coach Jo started her college career at Seward County Community College were she helped lead the team to an NJCAA Championship.  She later transferred to Oklahoma Panhandle State University to play with her sister Coach Roxie.  While at Oklahoma Panhandle State University Coach Roxie received many accolades such as Freshman of the Year, All Tournament Catcher, and All-Conference Catcher in the conference.  Coach Roxie transferred to Arkansas Tech were she helped lead her team to 2 Conference Championships in the GSC West Division.

Texas Smash is a non-profit orginization.  We play USFA and ASA tournaments with teams in several age divisons.  We promote a family atmosphere and great sportsmanship.  We prepare our girls for the next level with coaches who have been at the next level and know what it takes to get there.  (NO DADDY BALL)  We host several tournaments a year as part of our fundraising activities to help teams and parents off set cost of dues, travel, etc.  We also have hitting and pitching coaches on our staff who are availble for private lessons.
