No more move ... there has been a change in my life. So no house-warming party either, but I am thinking of renting a studio and holding a birthday party over the holiday period, anyone game for it?

Went on my Westmount bottom-to-top on Sunday morning. Ended up like a snowman. Had a ball. Was wearing new thermal tights bought thru internet (all white, looked like a casse-noisettes dancer).

I am SOOOOO EXCITED!!!  It was great to see ninja boy yesterday.  Those are awesome photos Mars - can we say " Desktop wallpaper".

The forecast at the moment has the overnight temps to be around 8C... topping out at about 15c, with about 5km/hr winds. Could not be more perfect! I am very stoked!

Every now and then when your life gets complicated and the weasels start closing in, the only cure is to load up on heinous chemicals and then drive like a ba$tard from Hollywood to Las Vegas ... with the music at top volume and at least a pint of ether.

Wow, nice pic, Mars ... We are soooo excited for you, JB, and we can't wait for the race report!

RG: I run in my regular shoes but have finally caved in and bought some Yak Trak thingies. Don't really know if I need them though since I haven't really been running at all since I can't remember.

Merc: How's the injury?

It's a little chillier than that these days. Overnight temps has been going in low single digits (C), with a couple of nights sub-freezing. The days have been topping off between 11-15 C.

Looks like the days will warm up by then, but not the nights.

Still, great marathon weather, apart from freezing your privates waiting for the 6:00 AM start...

JoeB: RIGHT NOW, there is ONE thing you should be very concerned about: NOT GETTING SICK (we are surrounded by sneezing + coughing invaders).

Well I was almost starting to feel better until I read this. I think I'll need a few more days to get over that queasy feeling in my stomach.

Re: Montreal "cooler in winter" Runners

One good thing about this damn cold forced me to rest a little longer. Legs, arse  and back are feeling like a kid again. The legs were just bursting to run.

1 km warmup + 1 km cooldown with 5k in 24.30 min. Aaahhh feels good to run again.

JB good luck and enjoy popping your marathon cherry. Be gentle on Vegas.

Merc, how you feeling, are you running.

Gomez, large frenchman in white tights sic him.

LC, Truxx, anyone running with phoenix tomorrow, I might go.

Grommit, SS, DF7, TB, LC, KJ, Truxx, RG' DR , Merc who's up for a run at the Mountain 9:00 am Sunday at the Angel.
