Any Mississippi Runners Out There?

Hi, I just started the couch to 5k program. I am wondering if there are any other Mississippi runners out there and if so does anyone have any good advice on running trails?

Hey from Madison MS. We have a good trail along the Natchez Trace but looks like you live along the coast. We have several 5K races coming up - check out the Mississippi Track Club web site. Keep up the training...looks like from your profile of being wife, mother, student you will need the stress relief.

Where's the trail along the Natchez Trace? How long is it? I'm in Flowood and my long runs lately have been from Old Fannin Rd., across the causeway to Bay Pointe and back. (about 10.5 miles). I'm always looking for other places for my long runs so I don't burn out.

Hi Roxanna, I'm in Gulfport, MS on the coast. Where are you? I'm on W7D3 and having my worst week yet this week as far as comfort level. I'm not sure why. Just is a struggle this week. Sunday is my next run. I run on TM right now. I have two girls, 19 and 23 up at MSU, one is finished and waiting to start more college in August in Jackson. One is a freshman. Its great to know there is another Coastie out there!
