3 mile warmup with a couple of 60's around 10
8 times 200 meters @ 36 with 30 second jog recovery
1 min. jog, 1 times 200 meters @ 35 sec.
2 min. jog, 2 times 60 meters @ 10.0, 9.4 sec.
2 mile warmdown
I've bought shoes here a few times and trust them. They have been around a long time and have a good rep. Kiyanos are $135 there. It looks like they have all sizes, except no half sizes beginning at 13.

Thanks, Jim. The guy at the running store said that Asics said they don't
have any size 13s in North America. Do you think Asics is lieing?
I bought a pair of size thirteen 2120's too.
I don't think they would iie, but people who answer the phones make mistakes all the time. If you are interested you could call Roadrunner Sports and ask them if they have your size. I've called them before and found them to be helpful.
I don't know what optimum post base would be for 800 meters. Snell was said to have averaged well over 100 miles, while Coe ran just 55-60 (although some say he ran more). I don't know how it broke down between base phase and racing season.
Sun Raider, I think I did see you out running my last day in Phoenix, but I didn't slow down to run with you because I needed to get some work in.
Did 4.4 very slow miles on grass this morning, followed by a long set of core work at the Y, as they have equipment. Have my front plank up to 2:15, quivering like Jell-O though. Next goal is 2:30.
Rich, did you see that Bob is hiding out on us in northern Maine. He is hearing the footsteps no doubt.

Hey, I ran 4 miles like this today, 8:52, 8:31, 8:21 and 8:16. The surprising thing is, I wasn't really working. A sign of progress maybe.
I got a kick out of Fred's workout, 200's in 36 sec. If I ran one in 40, I'd go into cardiac arrest or something worse. Nice workout Fred!
