It looks like a few friends from BC got in...some were 2 time losers.

Tim, I tried posting in your blog, but couldn't figure out my password (I think I have an account). Anyway I just finished registering for the Kettle Moraine 100, hope to run a few miles there with you.

Craig, I noticed you are already registered. See you in Wisconsin.

Also planning on registering for Leadville 100.

Yes sir! KM100 it is. I'm also considering Leadville again as well. If not then I may run Burning River in Ohio a weeks prior to Leadville. See you in Wisc. Craig

For anyone who may be a two time loser and concerned about a rule change for 2009, the following is from Greg Soderlund in response to an email I sent him a couple of months ago (I wanted to make sure people entered as buddies were eligible for the 2x loser rule):

"Yes, if you enter as a buddy and are not
selected, it counts as a rejection. Two rejections, and you're an automatic the third year. That rule may be changing sometime in the future but won't affect those applicants in the pipeline now."

Glad, at least, to be in the pipeline for '09.

When i talked to Rootsrunner yesterday from the lottery he said that they do not plan on changing the two time loser rule for next year, but they will wait and see how many applications they get next year from two time losers. (i think this is what he explained to me, i am sure he can elaborate when he returns from cali).

I am really surprised by the list this year, last year i knew at least a dozen folks between real life and coolrunning who were picked, this year, just me and my buddy. I know at least 10-15 people who were not picked. weird how the randomness plays out.
