I decided to get a Garmin 305. My timex ironman doesn’t work anymore, even after trying to replace the battery.
Any suggestions about where to get one?
I looked at the Garmin posts on Gear and read about walmart.com and www.resellerratings.com.[/URL" target="_blank">
Any other suggestions.

I got mine at buy.com for 219 plus I think 6 dollars shipping. Also if you are a new member you gert like 15 dollars off. If you proceed to check out the actual price shows up. They also were really quick in there shipping. I paid for standard shipping and actually received it the day after I ordered it.

Bought my first HRM from heartratemonitorusa.com about 3 weeks ago. I ordered around noon one day and it was at my door the next. Free overnight shipping! Highly recommended. The Garmins are certainly amazing technology for so little money, but my research led me to buy the Polar RS400SD instead.
unconditional lifetime warranty.
if it stops working in ten years you can get your money back
if you get bored with it you can get your money back
if it breaks outside the warranty you can get your money back
if it breaks inside the warranty you can exchange it for a brand new one, not a refurb/repaired unit.
...well worth the slight price premium.
the 305 was recently ~$275 recently if memory serves.
