I need Shoe Recomendations: Performance Stability

First of all, I know I should go to specialty running store and check these shoes out in person. But the stores in my area don't have all the brands. I will have to go to several stores to try out all the brands. So I will start with good ol' coolrunning first.
Info: Male 26. 155lbs. 5'9" 30-50 mpw. I have a normal arch and have ran in neutral shoes ok, but I like a little bit of stability. I am looking for a good light weight stability shoe to add to the rotation. Currently running in and loving the Asics DS-Trainer 11.

I was going to buy the new DS-Trainer 12, but it sucked. I did not like it at all. Come to find out, it sucks so much that Asics is discontinuing them. So I need another brand to go with here for a similar lightweight performance shoe.

What do you guys like?
I went to a NB store to try on a 902 this weekend and they were out of my size 11.      I hear that these are good shoes.
Any Brooks wearers out there?
Mizuno?
Sacony?
I would try Nike but every time I do their shoes are too tight in the toe box.

Thanks for all you advice!!

Where can you find Brooks? I used to have a pair years ago. I loved them. I cannot find any like them now. Where do you live?

Thanks.

I have no complaints about my Asics 2120s...but I didn' have too many choices with my 4E feet

diehard Mizuno user here.  5-10 male, 155-60, normal arch, mild pronator.  Love the Mizuno fit.  Usually wear Inspires, will switch off to the lighter, lower-profile Elixir (Maverick replacement) for a cycle, but they tend to break down quicker.  Every once in awhile I get the itch to try something new, and always come back to Mizuno.  Have tried Adidas Supernova, Brooks Axiom, Asics 2090, Nike Air Coos.  Still love the Mizunos.

NB 901s and 902s are nice. A little heavier than I would like, but they come in 2E which I need.

Re: I need Shoe Recomendations: Performance Stability

here are some of the options, yes you are right that the DST 11 was awesome and the fit of the DST 12 has made it much less liked across the board.

Consider:

NB 902 (doing very well)
Avia Avi-Lite (last year named best lightweight trainer-really surprises people)
Brooks Axiom
Mizuno Elixir (one of my faves)
Nike Zoom Elite
Adidas adizero tempo
Saucony Tangent

I like the mizuno elixer. I tried the NB 902 and hated it - but that is just me. Got arch pain on my right foot. I also nned the wider toebox which is why nike is out for me although i do like their cushioing.

Re: I need Shoe Recomendations: Performance Stability

I like the DS-Trainers too. I also just started running in the Puma Concinnity for speedier runs. Dumb name, decent shoe. It's light and comfortable, with good stability (I'm a slight-to-moderate overpronator). They're also very cool-looking. But, of course, we real runners don't care about looking good out there.  One thing: it's a bit narrow, so if you have wide feet, I'd pass on it.
