That depends on the race (I use somewhat faster songs for 5Ks).  My top six for longer distances are:

 

 

1)  Lean to Fly - Foo Fighters

 

 

2)  Mr. Jones - Counting Crows

 

 

3)  The Remedy - Jason Mraz

 

 

4)  I don't wanna be - Gavin DeGraw

Well if I'm upset at something/ someone, there is nothing like running to Rage Against the Machine. I can run so fast to that music, it sure gets the blood boiling! Its also great at the end of the race music to get you really pushing it to the finish line.

 

 

Others I really like are Rihanna (Disturbia), Def Leppard, Nirvana, U2, Timbaland, Rolling Stones, Led Zep...I have varied taste in music!!

 

 

I can not run w/ out music....not that I have actually tried it though!!
