Check-in for Tuesday, 1/30/07.

Hello everyone!!

Today is a run day for me. It's the week of my longest long run in my HM training schedule, then begins the taper. Today I'm not sure if I'll do fartleks or just an aerobic run, but it'll be done on the treadmill at the gym during my lunch hour whatever it is.

I've been working out at the gym since May 2006 and have yet to lose much, but my muscle to body fat ratio has certainly shifted and I'm happy about that.

How's everyone else doing today?

Run and swim on the plan today. I?m hoping to get 5mi around lunch and then swim for 30 min later tonight

i ran 3 miles this morning and then walked until i had reached 60 mins total of cardio. and then a few crunches. going to try in get in an aerobics video tonight...but we'll see how i feel.

forced rest. my cold isn't getting better. Got drugs from Dr monday so trying them, already seeing improvement.

<sigh> another run down the drain. So sad

Ok, only 1/2 sad. It was 7degrees w/ 20mph gusts this morning. That wind chill of OH-MY-GOD-WHY-AM-I-OUTSIDE type of wind. And yes, I'm too much of a big wussy to use our treadmill

I'm on Week 9 of Couch to 5K, but today I had walking breaks during my run as I was pushing a stroller in the wind. Was a great workout though. I can feel it in my upper arms too. I'm running with my baby in the stroller one day a week in preparation for a 7K fun run in February. Dh and I are going to run/walk together and take turns with the stroller. He runs faster than I do, but I've been running for longer so hopefully we even out.

No run for me today, through I have run 12 out of the last 14 days. I ended the month of January logging 85 miles in 24 runs. My best month yet since I began running in 07/2006.

4 miles in the morning; went with DW to see Rod Stewart concert after work -- had to postpone my semi-weekly weight workout a day.

Very nice.

I had my best January ever, by a good margin. Finished this month with 140.0 miles. Last January, I ran 87.0
