i'm off to a brilliant start today...nothing...i did nothing but sleep in this morning. should have done 3 miles, but just thought that i would rather sleep. it's been awhile time since i've done that...and i don't know if i'll be able to make it up tonight or not. have an appt with my hairstylist...but maybe i'll have time after. hope everybody else was a little more dedicated, motivated, whatever today.
Morning!!
No run yesterday since it was a recovery day. Today I might get in a fartlek set later tonight. Got a meeting at my son's school during lunch which is when I'd normally work out.
Feeling great!! Sore thighs and a shin, but feeling very fit.

The plan is to do hill repeats with running club tonight, but we're getting dumped with snow. Hopefully it won't be too slick.
Hmmm! Four reports and no miles yet!
Minus 26 and windy, so today was a "just get on the TM and see what happens" day. I started slow at 5.3 mph and bumped the speed up by 0.1 mph every 10 min. This led to 5.55 easy paced miles for the first hour. The second hour was quicker, continuing the plan from the first, but with the final 20 min at 7.0 mph, which is my goal HM pace for Vancouver in May. Overall...just under 12 miles in 2 hrs. A good run under the circumstances.
Haven't run yet but will do 4 after work today...
Well - It looks like we have 1 sleeper, 3 PM runners and a morning running tigger.
I hit the treadmill for 15 miles this AM and returned for 4 @ lunch - Speed unimportant, just trying to burn calories and lose weight.
Another muddy mucky 4 miles in 36 minutes late this morning. Temperature was 42 during my run...it's 72 now!
Planned on 3.5, but ran 6 after my hour drive home in a blizzard. I'll just tweak tomorrow's run.
Went to do 4 but only accomplished 3. Had 30+ minutes of torture because my calves were on fire! Ouch...

Editing my own post to say that I officially completed this workout. About 15 brave souls showed up and slid up and down hills for roughly 4 miles.
8.75 miles outside this morning in the balmy 17°F heat! Survived yesterdays indoor double. Feels great to be back outside!

another 4 miles on the indoor track; need to get back outside one of these days.
10 miles on the treadmill in 1:26:31 (8:39/mile). 1-percent incline. Didn't plan on doing that much, but said the hell with it after a while and just kept going.
Quick 3 miler - well for me it was quick...
