Today is my last run, a 2-miler on the tready, before my race!!
Tomorrow is packing and traveling to MIL's, Saturday travel from MIL's to Austin and packet pickup (and a little Mardi Gras on 6th Street).

ran 4 miles today. felt great!!
i'm running an 8K on saturday so that'll be my long run. i just finished training for a 15K so i'm back to a 3,4,4,5 schedule with 10 percent increases every week or every other week until i start marathon training in august.

My 5 miler turned into a 4 miler. I have been trying to watch the diet and inadvertantly have not been eating enough...it seemed like enough at the time. any way, 1000-1200 calories a day isn't cutting it for running.
I quit when my arms started to get tingley and the number of lanes on the track started to multiply. Besides, by then all the walkers were beginning to pass me.
1/2 hour on the exercise bike. The roads are still pretty bad from yesterday's snow, plus there were bitter wind chills. Maybe I can get to the indoor door track at the Y tomorrow.
