I had a decent run: 5 1/4 miles, and more than 3 1/2 minutes faster than the same course last Sunday. I credit the warmer weather (I wore shorts), new running shoes (which gave comfort to my neuroma) and doing uphill intervals yesterday. I think I’m ready for spring.

    Yay!!! Congrats ont he PR!!!

I ran my normal dog run of 2.05 miles.  I think I wore my doby out tonight though because by the end she was slowing down a lot.  If it's not raining tomorrow night, I'm going to try to run without her and do 3-4 miles.

15.1 mile brutal mountain trail run over 4 mountain summits.  5549' of total elevation gain.  I'm completely beat...

Awesome job on the PR sekd256!

very nice! what was your prior? I always enjoy comparing.. I improved by 1 min, 10 min, whatever! Good job!

Me, 3 hour ride w/ intervals followed by 2mile run (30min). Run was miserable, ick. My nutrition plan failed me today

    New PRs are the best!

Our nephew had a birthday party today. I ran to it. 12.63 miles. AND, DS 16yr old videogamer, asked if he could ride the bike along side. My heart can not take that kind of excitment. As departure time drew closer, he started hinting at backing out. Like many of us, his biggest obsticle was his own self doubt. I'm learing magic words that motivate him, "Chicks will dig it".
It was great!!!!!! Mid 60sF and sunny. Lots of rolling hills through farm land. In many directions, we could see hills and valleys for miles. He said the world looks smaller through the van windows. DS's aunts, uncles, cousins and sibs were impressed with him. We'll see what a nw day brings. Life is good today.

that is awesome. mine are too little, but I encourage them whenever they make an attempt. DS6 "goes running" with me from time to time - he usually makes it about 1/4-1/2 mile. But still, I'll delay my workout for that any day! (and add a 1/2 mile!)
