Maybe the best cycling invention this year??

It has been about 4 months now wearing my Police Jersey and all I can say is YEAH BABY!!! Whole new level of respect from motorists.

Do you ever get any comments from the police? Do they care that you are wearing a shirt that says County Police really big even though you are not (i'm assuming) a police officer? If they don't care, I wouldn't mind wearing one of those if it means cars will respect my space on the road!

Marc - Thanks for the question. I have only received positive response. I had an officer pull up next to me at a stop light and ask me where I had gotten it.

Thus far, all has been positive. I bet I have ridden it over 1000 miles so far and it has been great. I am at the point where I feel like I need to wear it now. Almost like riding without a helmet.

Great idea, except for the fact I live and ride in Louisiana where we have parishes and not counties.

Too bad they don't make or sell them anymore. Commuting in Plano, Texas is the pits. The jersey makes it easier.

As a Police officer I would say, no dont wear it. As a cyclist I would have to say if it works use it.

The police in Plano, Frisco and the Colony pay absolutely no attention to me when I wear it.
