Swimming DVD's

Can anyone recommend any swimming DVDs to help improve my swimming techniques? I'm looking for video that shows all aspects of the stroke, above water as well as below.

Thank you for your time.

Re: Swimming DVD's

Total Immersion offers a good CD, but it is pretty pricy.

I would suggest YouTube.... there are some good short clips from Dave Scott out there and others around stroke drills.

Re: Swimming DVD's

Tom Jager's "Becoming a Faster Swimmer" series are very good. The videos are available at http://www.sportvideos.com/

I have checked eBay and there are not many, but TI's videos are usually less expensive at eBay.

Good luck, Juan

Re: Swimming DVD's

There are several video vignettes of strokes using the www.triswimcoach.com ebook, videos, drills that I found to improve and give direction to my swimming technique. I was able to complete two triathlons from the techniques I practiced from this system. Also, for all aspects of the Triathlon swim, 'The Essential Triathlon Swimming' dvd is excellent. You can buy it from the same site. Good luck! Catz

Guess What, you can train with Olympic Champion Natalie Coughlin on iTRAIN.com. Log onto www.itrain.com and you will see iTRAINGOLD with Natalie. It is a 60 min downloadable audio that trains you in the water and a compatible video that comes with it. It is amazing!!!

Re: Swimming DVD's
If you are in Denver try going to Swimlabs. They can video you in an endless pool and tell you what you are doing wrong. Cuts to the chase and nails down flaws. I don't work for them but have been twice so far and consider the time there money well spent. You can come out of it with a dvd that you can watch at home. If you are not in COlorado I am not sure where you can go but probably a coach at a masters group could tell you where you can be vidioed swimming.
