    Missing Cones in New York

Officials in Forest City and Carbondale, PA, were jubilant to learn theat the FBI had located their missing orange cones from the Steamtown Marathon course in New York, "gifts" to at least three NY state marathons from the Spitzer administration, members of which had snatched them from the course as runners passed before spiriting them across the state line in unmarked vans. Staffers at the St. Joseph's Center in Scranton describe the findings as an answer to prayers.

Just saw another video clip from a Spitzer press conference and it dawned on me:  this guy's got the ears of a Ferengi!

being single, the thought occurred to me. . .

Is $80k cheaper than a wife?  (Imagine how much his divorce is going to cost now. . . )

I mean, OK, it would take a while to spend $4k on a wife (if she's a good one). . . but when you consider things like "mandatory vacations" and "shiny things" and "shopping habits" and loss of income when "just wants to think about doing something different" . . .  I still wonder which is cheaper.

And even though this may sound slightly misogynistic, I love women.  (I'm just highly selective.)

TastyGel and packets of TastyAde powder will, however,  be available in race packets at the Chambersburg Half Marathon Saturday

Company officials later added that they may distribute the new products through their regular channels if initial acceptance meets expectations and demand warrants it.  The company's regular market area includes Pennsylvania and a number of neighboring states.

Wow, I missed my chance!  I would have signed up for the "Run for the Red" if I hadn't decided to do CMM first.
