Swimming to Africa

OK, so the swim was just 12 miles and it took them four-and-a-half hours--a marathon swim, but not the longest ever completed. The funny part is the quote that the BBC chose to highlight in this article: Walliams completes swim to Africa

"Swimming and throwing up... it shouldn't really go together."

I remember thinking the same thing after some particularly grueling sets of 100's in high school and college. Words to live by!

Re: Swimming to Africa

"Well, Jesse, that's probably because you could hardly do a 50 when you first started in high school" -Dad

"Africa? Who wants to go to Africa?!" -Grandma

"No time to think about throwing up when you become a father and make me a grandmother" -Mom

"This isn't appropriate" -Mom

"Doesn't throwing up attract more sharks--vomit as is technically called" -Colleen

Happy Easter!
