Oh yeah, it can get pretty hot up here. During summer I either run in the very early morning, or usually I wait until late afternoon when it "cools down" to 85 or 90.
I look at it philosophically, though. What does not kill me makes me stronger. I am training for an adventure race in a year or two, so the more adverse the training conditions, the better. I have some 5K coming up July 4, September, November. along with a sprint triathlon coming up in December. Nothing peels off the pounds like multi-sport training!
