Good question and the jury is still out on this, however, the research so far shows that, yes, nutrition and Exercise can affect fertility. Interestingly enough, there are fertility clinics in Canada who refuse to accept patients who smoke or do NOT exercise.

Seems like staying healthy is a good start toward fertility!
