Help with trail shoe

Anyone out there training or racing in Inov8s? I have been training in the Flyroc 310 and Terroc 330 for a while now. I love the shoes. Can really feel the trail and they are good in mud and on wet rock. My longest run in them has been a 30K. I just don't feel like they have enough cushioning to go any longer. Especially for the hard-pack that is common here in the Northeast. Has anyone been using one of the newer or different models that have better cushioning?

Thanks

I am a La sportiva guy myself - have you tried their new Crosslite or Fireblade?

The IrunFar blog had a good review of the Fireblade here:

Re: Help with trail shoe
I just got the Montrail Hurricane, I took it out for 25k hard trail and liked it a lot. Alittle heavier than other shoes, and waterproof but good breathability and rugged shoe. For technical terrain, I'm happy so far.

Re: Help with trail shoe

295s, 295s, 295s!!! The roclite 295s are the bomb baby! I run in inov-8s (roclite320 and 285) and love the shoes. The roclite 295s just came out in March or April and combine the cushioning (that La Sportiva does not have-and yes I own a pair of crosslites, raceblades and fireblades) and tread of the Roclites with the toe box and fit of the Flyrocs. Inov-8 listened to it's customers about what to do with this shoe and put out the most complete and perfectly balanced trail shoe I have ever run in. (and I have owned plenty!) I just ordered my 2nd pair and have only had my first pair for 45 days. Try them, you won't be sorry. Cheers
