Performance Insole Question

I've been running for about a year now and I've known I am a moderate overpronator. I've always used stablilty style running shoes, Asics 2120 and currently run in Brooks Adrenaline 9.

I was wondering how it would work if I switched the standard insoles with performance insoles like the New Balance Multi Sport Cushioning insole. http://www.nbwebexpress.com/detail.asp?type=MNACIN&style=IMSC3100

Would switching insoles effect the way the Adrenaline controles the pronation of my foot? Would it be better to switch the insoles or to leave the original ones since the performance insoles seem to be for medium/high arches, where I have a very low arch?

Re: Performance Insole Question
I'd check out the line at Superfeet, which has a different product for each foot type and se how they explain things. Whatever you do, ditch the factory insole and upgrade for sure!

Re: Performance Insole Question

Like anything else, drastic changes can affect your running gait even leading to injury. I used to use Sof Sole Arch Plus insoles which had a thick heel pad. I switched to their minimal insole where the heel sits way lower and has no arch support. I severely strained (tore) my left ankle and ended up with acilles tendonitis on the right and couldn't run for 6 weeks.
